Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use 100mpixel.com, create an account, buy pixel blocks or take part in the referral program. By using 100M PIXEL you agree to them.

1. The service

100M PIXEL is an online advertising canvas of 10,000 x 10,000 pixels (100,000,000 pixels). Pixels are sold in blocks of 10 x 10 pixels. The owner of a block can show a title, an image and a link on it, visible to anyone who views the canvas.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account or buy blocks.
  • Give accurate information and keep your email address current.
  • Keep your password and two-factor codes private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think your account has been compromised.

3. Prices and quotes

  • The price is $1 per pixel, which is $100 per 10 x 10 block, in US dollars, unless a different price is shown before you reserve.
  • Prices and totals are always calculated by our server. The price shown when you reserve is the price you pay; any value changed in your browser is ignored.

4. Reservations

  • Reserving a block holds it for you for 10 minutes so you can check out.
  • When you start a crypto payment, the hold is extended to cover the payment window shown on the invoice.
  • If the hold ends before payment is received, the reservation lapses and the block can be reserved and bought by someone else.

5. Payments

  • The payment methods available are the ones shown at checkout.
  • Card payments, where offered, are processed by Stripe on its own secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's own terms apply to the payment.
  • Crypto payments are processed by our payment provider, Cryptomus, using the tokens and networks offered at checkout. Cryptomus's own terms apply to the payment.

For crypto payments:

  • Send the exact amount, in the token and on the network shown on the invoice, to the address shown, before the invoice expires. Blockchain transfers are irreversible: funds sent to the wrong address, on the wrong network or in the wrong token may be lost, and we may not be able to recover them.
  • Network fees, and any exchange rate applied by the payment provider, are your responsibility.
  • A block becomes yours only when the payment provider confirms the full payment.
  • Underpayments: if you send less than the invoice amount, the block is not sold. Where the provider allows, you can top up the payment; otherwise the order is reviewed by us manually.
  • Late payments: a payment that arrives after the order was cancelled or the block was released does not reserve or buy the block. We review such payments manually.

6. Refunds

  • There are no automatic or self-service refunds. Purchases are final unless we agree to a refund or the law requires one.
  • If we do issue a refund, a card payment is refunded to the card through Stripe, and a crypto payment is refunded manually in cryptocurrency (network fees may be deducted).
  • After a full refund the block is released back to the canvas, its ad is removed, and any referral commission earned on that order is cancelled.
  • To ask about a payment problem, email us with your order details.

7. Your ad content

  • You are responsible for the title, image and link you put on your blocks, and for the website the link points to. You can change them at any time from your dashboard; the rules below apply to every change.
  • You confirm that you own or have permission to use everything you upload, including logos, trademarks, images and text, and that your content and your website comply with the law.
  • You keep ownership of your content. You give 100M PIXEL a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, resize, display and reproduce it for operating and promoting the canvas, for as long as it is published.

8. Prohibited content

Ad content and linked websites must not contain or lead to:

  • anything illegal, or content that promotes illegal activity;
  • malware, phishing, scams, or deceptive or misleading offers;
  • sexual content involving minors, or sexually explicit material;
  • hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence;
  • content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights of others;
  • impersonation of another person, brand or organisation;
  • other people's personal information without their consent.

Links must use http or https; other kinds of links are rejected. A link must keep pointing to content that follows these rules after you publish it.

9. Moderation and suspension

  • We may hide ad content that breaks these terms or that we reasonably consider harmful. Hiding content does not take away your ownership of the block; you can replace the content with content that follows the rules.
  • We may suspend or close accounts involved in fraud, abuse, security attacks or serious or repeated breaches of these terms.

10. Referral program

  • Anyone with an account can share a personal referral link.
  • A new user is credited to the first valid referral code they used, recorded once by our server when they sign up (or at their first order, for accounts that existed before). It cannot be changed afterwards.
  • The referrer earns a commission on every eligible purchase that the referred user makes. The commission rate is shown on the referral page and in your dashboard.
  • Commissions start as pending and are reviewed by us before they are approved. Approved commissions can be requested as a payout once your balance reaches the minimum shown in your dashboard; payouts are reviewed and paid manually.
  • A commission is cancelled if the purchase is refunded.
  • We may refuse or cancel commissions, and close referral accounts, obtained through fraud, self-referral, spam or other abuse.

11. No guaranteed results

We do not guarantee any number of views, clicks, visitors, sales or other results from a block, and we do not guarantee that the canvas will sell out or that blocks will gain value.

12. Availability

We work to keep 100M PIXEL available, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We do not guarantee that the service, the canvas or any ad will remain available for any particular period of time.

13. Our intellectual property

The 100M PIXEL name, logo, website design and software belong to 100M PIXEL. You may not copy, scrape or misuse them, or use the service to attack, overload or interfere with it.

14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, 100M PIXEL is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that cannot be excluded.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
